Motorola’s Logo Gets a Googley New Look

A new look for a new, Google-owned company.
Motorola has switched up its company logo. First spotted by The Verge, it’s now sporting a vibrant — I say more Googley — array of colors encircling the traditional Motorola “M” graphic.
Cute — and appropriate, considering that the hardware company has officially been a part of Google for a little more than a year.
Motorola is big on changing its image in phone hardware, focusing on fewer products with more innovative features packed into flagship releases. That’s a drastic shift from Motorola’s previous strategy of releasing lots of high-end phones and tablets.
Nothing like a new logo to say you’re trying to do things entirely differently.
